Movie Review!

So I think everyone out there knows that I like to watch movies. I like to buy them and I like to watch them over and over again! Well about a year ago I discovered the Red Box! I am sure most of you know about this...where you can go and rent a movie for just $1.00 a night + tax (of course). Anyway I have decided that since I watch movies and I may or may not enjoy them that I would tell everyone what I think of them so maybe that would help them make a decision when they are at the nearest wal-mart getting ready to rent a movie from the Red Box.

Today I really wanted to rent the movie "Waitress" . With Keri Russell.

I have seen it at the red box for several months and I have always passed it over, well today I decided I wanted to rent it and watch it! I wasn't sure at first because if you all know me I have buyers remorse after everything I buy, even a movie rental at $1.08. Anyway...I really liked this movie it is definatally a "Chick Flick" the husbands won't want to spend there time watching it...there are no car chases or guns or explosions. Just this story about a woman who gets pregnant by her abusive husband and ... I won't tell to much! Anyway everything works out for her, is that saying to much?!? One thing that I was pleasently surprised about is the preformance by Andy Griffith. He has never been a favorite of mine (I don't know why) anyway... in this movie I actually liked him. So if your husbands are out of town or working the night shift or maybe a little girly go and rent this movie and enjoy yourselves. I hope you like it and don't blame me if you don't maybe you don't like the kind of movies I do. But hopefully you will!

So for the record I give it... *** stars.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my 3...nstd birthday! I had a great birthday, Justin took the day off so he could pamper me. He made me breakfast, and dinner. Both of which he made sure I wanted! Then the rest of the day he drove me all over the valley getting some awesome deals on birthday treats! We first went to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and got a free dozen original doughnuts and then we headed out to Sam's Club. We didn't get anything there but walked around until it was time for us to take Parker to school. After Sam's club we went to lunch at subway where we both ate for $6.00+some change, not to bad but then we went to Cold Stone Creamery where I got a "love it" size of ice cream for free and Justin got his for $3.00+ some change. We also went to our new neighborhood Fresh and Easy market where we spent $10.00 and got a free canvas bag. the deals there are good like the banana's were only .18 cents each, and the avocados were 4 for $1.99. Not to bad I think I will go back! Then it was time to pick up the kids from school then we headed out to the Santan Village mall. That wasn't as bad as it sounds when I say we took our kids. They were all very good and had fun too. They played on the little play area and had fun posing for pictures. Pictures which I can't remember how to e-mail to myself so I can post them. I might try again in a few minutes. After being at the play area for a while some other people came over and Emie became upset that other people were touching the toys... we decided it was time to go! We headed over to the apple store where I got to pick out my present.

Justin decided to get me an Apple iPod Touch!

He liked it because it does a lot of what the iPhone does but the phone part. We also decided we wanted to order it online because then Justin could get an engraving on it and online they have the brand new model of it! So we came home and found this on our front window,

that was a fun thing to find I don't even know who did it but I enjoyed it! Justin made dinner and I opened presents and cards and had a great night when the 3 older kids were in bed by 8 and Emie was in bed by 9! It was a nice quite evening and I had a great day!

Stuck Again!

I can't believe it Emie got stuck in a chair again! She is so independent that she does things all the time all by herself! Today she was climbing up on the table to eat the applesauce that Parker left behind and on the way up this happened.

Now it doesn't look to bad at first but I couldn't free her. I tried to pull up, I tried to straighten and pull up, I tried to bend and pull up, but nothing happened. So like any other blogger I stopped to take a few pictures! I also took a video this time a little longer and it shows the relese to her arm but you know how long it takes for blogger to upload videos so I will probably not post the video!
I couldn't believe that she got stuck again. This time it wasn't as bad just because I was able to get her out without having to cut the chair up but it did take a few minutes! I guess she will be the one that I will defiantly be keeping my eye on!

2nd Annual Birthday's Dinner

I have a friend that is 51 weeks younger than I am, we grew up together and went to college and were roommate's together. Jeannette was born on September 3rd 1977 and I was born on September 10Th 1976 so we always tried to celebrate something together for our birthday's. Last year Jeannette called me to ask if I would want to go out to dinner for our birthday's. Of course I said" yes" and now for a year I have been looking forward to this years dinner! (It probably has something to do with the fact that Justin and I haven't been on a date since last year). Jeannette got to pick last years spot where we ate at Joe's Crab Shack it was very good and fun to spend the time catching up and talking. This year Jeannette called to tell me I got to choose where we went this year.
I picked the

We had a great time. Here we are at first before eating:

I told Jeannette I was going to blog these pictures so she took my camera in hopes to erase the pictures but I took the card before handing the camera over. The food was great and the company was even better! Jeannette's husband Dan asked the waitress to have some people sing "happy Birthday" to us so they(Dan and Justin) wouldn't be in trouble. So the waitress came over with 3 other people and did a great job.

Our desert plates had "Happy Birthday to you" written on the edge with chocolate syrup.

UMMMM it was very good, but with the steak I ordered for dinner I couldn't finish it. I guess I know what I will eat for snack on Monday! I had a great time and can't wait for Jeannette's pick for next years "Birthday's Dinner!"

Labor Day Weekend!

We had a great Labor Day Weekend! We went over to Safford and spent a few days with my sister and my parents. It was fun and cooler than here! Justin took the boys up the mountain and went camping on Friday night. Justin said that it was so nice not cold and not hot. It rained on them in the middle of the night and in the morning so they decided to come home saturday morning instead of staying to hike and play. Monica and I had the girls so we went to her place after visiting with mom and dad and put the girls to bed and stayed up watching a movie and talking! Saturday was a fun day when the boys got home Monica and I took the 7 kids to the Graham County Fairgrounds where we fed and watched the ducks. Dad came out too! After the ducks, we went to Old Grandmas to visit for a little while. The kids were out back when they all came to the door I went over to see what was going on and they all said "look we found dinosaur bones!" I looked into the bucket they were holding and say a whole skeleton of cat bones! YUCK! I told them all to get inside and wash their hands and then decided it was time to go home! Sunday was Sunday uneventful going to church and eating at mom and dad's house that was nice we played a couple rounds of speed scabble and went back to Monica's. Monday was fun too we went over to mom and dads house where they bar-be-qued hamburgers and we ate homemade ice cream and the kids played and had fun! After the festivities died down Justin and I left to get home in time to go to Brayden's 1st birthday party! He is so cute...he just dove into the cake "Mitch" made for him I will let "Mitch" tell the rest. Well that was our weekend as you can see I have no pictures. I took my camera to everything and didn't take one picture, nothing of the ducks or Old Grandma or Labor Day fun. I am a terrible blogger so I went ahead and added a couple of hyperlinks so you could see where we went at the fairgrounds and one for Brayden's birthday party hopefully "Mitch" will update with some of the cutest 1st birthday pictures ever!
