Malcolm in the Middle

So I was sick and tired of my kids the other day, they kept fighting and yelling and being kids I guess. Anyway I was sick of it so I said "that's it come in here, kneel down, and put your hands on you head"! Let me tell you...that is the best form of punishment yet! The kids kept whining and saying how uncomfortable it was for them! Both Justin and I were like "good, it is supposed to be hard, not fun you guys were being rude and bad"! Anyway I got the idea off the show Malcolm in the Middle, good show I would watch it if you guys have some naughty kiddos'!

By the way Emie was joining in on the "fun" while the kids were in trouble. She is hilarious!

Emie the Klutz

Well we all know Emie is a klutz...she finds trouble. She gets stuck in chairs, and gets black eyes before pictures and falls all the time. She is just trying to keep up with "the others" as I will refer to them in this post.

Well tonight while Emie was playing with a couple of "the others" she fell off the couch and hit her head pretty hard on the coffee table. My first thought was what happened what were you guys doing. When I went in to investigate "the others" were no where to be found? Umm...Hello what happened in here! We don't know we weren't in there. So off course I go in there and pick Emie up and see the GASH on her forehead. Oh CRAP! Justin!

Justin comes out we lay Emie on the table to get a good look and see this:

Yep a pretty bad gash in her head! Justin and I don't know where an Urgent Care is we haven't needed to know this so we get onto the BCBS website to see !Luckily Justin's brother Devon was here and he was kind enough to stay with "the others" while we took Emie on over to UC.

The wait wasn't so bad...Emie made a friend with a very nice woman and she had the nurses and Dr. wrapped around her fingers she was a brave little thing! She got 3 stitches in her head and a lot of love and stickers!

I always knew I would be visiting the ER or UC I never thought it would be for Emie or Michelle I honestly always thought Parker would be "the one" you know to give me white hair when I am only 32 I guess in a way he has!! Anyway Emie is doing great now, I will be waking her in a couple of hours to check for signs of a concussion which means I won't get tons of sleep, which also means that "the others" better be really good tomorrow!

January in a Nut Shell

WOW is it February already...I can't believe that I haven't really had a ton to post for the whole month of January. Stuff happened but nothing to bloggable so now that it is all over I will recap for you! School started again and my life went back to normal. I like the schedule that the school year sets for us I do wish that it wasn't so early in the morning though!

This month has been busy I guess when you look back on the month. We got to go to my new nephew's (baby Drew) baby blessing so we got to see a lot of family that weekend. Then nothing nothing nothing. and then Monica and Jeff came down to visit the next weekend which was fun for all...the kids loving playing with their cousins. The next weekend along with a few friend threw a baby shower for a good friend in the ward. She never found out what she was having so we waited until little Jack was born. That was a fun day filled with good friends. Then stared all the Birthday fun...the 19th was my little niece's birthday, the 21st was my brother-in-law's birthday the 26th is Justin's birthday and the 28th is my dad's birthday and my parent-in-laws anniversary...what a couple of weeks. In between all that my new car decided to die

so I had to call for a tow and get it fixed. It turns out it was just the battery but since the car is under warenty we decided to take advantage of that. Well since the car was out I got to walk to school and home 6 times that day. yep about a mile each way and I get to go to the school 3 times a day so I walked 6 miles that day. It was fun. If that possible!

Parker finally calmed down enough in karate to earn the next belt up. He was so proud of his achievment. So were me and Justin!
